Walkup Pro for iOS by Cedar Dynamics
Tap the "+" button on the Teams screen to create your first team. Give it a name and optionally add a team photo.
Select your team and tap "Add Player" to add players to your roster. Enter their name, jersey number, and position.
Tap on a player to edit their walkup. Use the song search to find tracks from iTunes, or tap "Import" to use your own audio files.
Tap the microphone icon to record a custom announcement for each player (e.g., "Now batting, number 7, Johnny Smith!").
Tap "Game Day" to see your lineup. Tap any player to play their full walkup sequence—announcement followed by their song.
iTunes provides free 30-second previews of songs. These previews are perfect for walkups, which typically only need a short clip. If you want full-length songs, you can import audio files you already own.
Tap "Import" when selecting a walkup song to import audio files you own. You can import from your Files app, iCloud Drive, or other sources. The app supports MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, and most common audio formats.
Walkup Pro supports MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, AIFF, and most other common audio formats. If you have trouble with a specific file, try converting it to MP3.
Yes! Once you've imported audio files or cached songs from iTunes, they're stored locally on your device. You can use Walkup Pro at the ballfield without an internet connection.
When selecting a song, you can adjust the start time to pick the perfect clip. Use the preview button to test different starting points until you find the right moment.
Microphone access is required to record custom player announcements within the app. Your recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared.
Absolutely. All your data—player information, photos, recordings, and song selections—is stored only on your device. We don't have servers that collect your data, and we don't use any analytics or tracking.
Go to Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data to remove all teams, players, and recordings. Alternatively, deleting the app will remove all data permanently.
The free version lets you create up to 3 players. Purchasing Walkup Pro ($9.99 one-time) unlocks unlimited players—perfect for managing full team rosters or multiple teams.
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchase." This will check your Apple ID for previous purchases and restore your Pro access. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.

Yes! Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID. Use "Restore Purchase" on any device signed into the same Apple ID to access Pro features.
Check that your device isn't on silent mode (check the ringer switch on the side of your iPhone). Also ensure the volume is turned up. If using AirPlay or Bluetooth, verify the connection to your speaker.

Song search requires an internet connection to access iTunes. Check your network connection and try again. Imported files will always work offline.
When recording announcements, speak clearly and hold your device about 6-8 inches from your mouth. Avoid covering the microphone (usually at the bottom of your iPhone). You can re-record as many times as needed.
