Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Douglas ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Cedar Dynamics ("we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Service Description

Douglas is an AI-powered family assistant that integrates with Google Calendar and WhatsApp to help households stay organized. The App provides calendar management, daily summaries, reminders, and conversational AI assistance. Douglas is designed for personal, non-commercial household use.

Account & Authentication

You must sign in with a Google account to use Douglas. By signing in, you authorize us to access your basic profile information and, if you grant permission, your Google Calendar data. You are responsible for:

• •Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• •All activity that occurs under your account
• •Ensuring any phone numbers you provide are your own or you have authorization to use

Third-Party Integrations

Douglas integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, WhatsApp, and AI providers. Your use of these integrations is also subject to each provider's terms of service:

You may revoke Douglas's access to Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account settings.

AI-Generated Content

Douglas uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• •AI responses may not always be accurate or complete
• •Douglas should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions
• •You are responsible for verifying any information provided by Douglas before acting on it
• •Calendar events created or modified by Douglas should be reviewed for accuracy

Acceptable Use

Douglas is intended for personal, household use. You agree not to:

• •Use the App for commercial or business purposes
• •Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit the App or its APIs
• •Use the App to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited messages
• •Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• •Attempt to manipulate the AI to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content

Subscriptions & Payments

Douglas may offer subscription plans through Apple's App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedar Dynamics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to missed appointments, incorrect calendar entries, undelivered messages, or any actions taken based on AI-generated responses. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Termination

You may stop using Douglas at any time by deleting the app and requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions.
